Well there is not much more to know than what is up on the main page of my blog.
I am getting my teaching licence in Secondary Education, English. So I will be certified to teach grades six through twelve.
I have a Bachelors from the UW-Madison in English, Creative Writing, and I love history. Especially Medieval Studies.
I love to read. There is currently 160 books on my to-read list, and growing as I try to plow my way through them.
I love to knit, I knit all the time. I am getting quite good if I say so myself. I have yet to make socks though. I find that funny.
I have a lot I know I need to work on in teaching, like talking too fast, using examples at a higher level than my students, and timing. I have got to work on timing out my lesson plans betters. But I hope to be able to reflect on these as I go, get advice from you the reader, and give some tips later on as I go.
Or at least entertain you with my antics and stories.
